Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023‘s Annabelle Greenaway has revealed some of the explosive BTS moments she shared with rival Olivia Benic during filming.
Runner-up Annabelle considered herself a “dark horse” in the race to win Farmer Matt’s heart. The pair went on their first date quite late in the season, but it was their instant chemistry that landed the hospitality team leader a spot in the farmer’s final two.
However, things weren’t so rosy between Matt’s final ladies. And we hope you’re thirsty because Annabelle has spilled all the tea about her relationship with Matt – and Olivia – during an exclusive interview in episode 298 of the So Dramatic! podcast.

Just to get you all up to speed… dURING Olivia’s explosive interview in episode 294 of the So Dramatic! podcast, she told host Megan Pustetto that when Matt and Annabelle got back from their date, she went straight to her bed so she could stew in peace.
However, according to Annabelle, this wasn’t exactly true.
“Olivia said she’d gone to bed and didn’t ask any questions, but [that wasn’t true]” the 22-year-old disputed.
“She went out and sat in the living room, Matt went to comfort her and then I went into my room.
“My producer and house AP came in and asked ‘What’s wrong Annabelle?’
“And I said: ‘Matt’s comforting her after my first date. If he’s apologising to her for going on a date with me, that’s rude,'” she continued. And fair enough!
After chatting to the production team, Annabelle “cracked the sh*ts” and started sulking in her co-star Chelsea‘s room.
Olivia then walked in and tried to apologise, however, Annabelle wasn’t having it.
“I was like ‘No Olivia, it’s done. Please don’t talk to me.” Ouch.

Annabelle also confessed that she had no idea Matt and Olivia had snuck away to feed the chickens that same night.
“[Matt’s girls] didn’t know about any of that,” she admitted.
However, she recalled that she had an inkling the pair were hanging out in the lounge area once the ladies went to bed.
“That night, we all said goodnight to each other, but then we heard footsteps down the hallway. It was like all the kids had been sent to bed and it was time for Mum and Dad to have tea on the couch,” she laughed.
“We’re all adults. If you want to have a drink on the couch, you don’t have to send us to bed.” Well said, sis!
But apparently, there was more sneaking around than we originally thought!
“I did hear a bit of goss on the grapevine that [Matt and Olivia] were sneaking around and having public catch-ups when we were in Sydney,” Annabelle dished. OMG. How did they get away with that?
What really went down between Annabelle and Olivia during the Honesty Dinner in Sydney?
Annabelle revealed some tea from the brutal Honesty Dinner scene with Matt and Olivia in Sydney.
“We were told by our producers to write down questions to ask each other. The girls from the other farms could write us questions too,” she explained.
However, during the Honesty Dinner, there was one pivotal moment that never made it to air.
“At our Farm Farewells, we had to pack up all of our stuff. We’d have to be ready so that if Matt was to send us home, we would be out the door straight away,” she dished.
Annabelle recalled walking into the old room she’d shared with Olivia.
“I was making sure I had my shoes and I looked under the bed and saw all of Olivia’s stuff hidden there,” she added.
She went on to explain that Olivia never packed her stuff because she knew she was going to be safe. However, earlier in the day, Annabelle claimed that Olivia was pretending to “freak out” about potentially being eliminated.
Annabelle drops another BOMBSHELL about Olivia
Annabelle then dropped ANOTHER bombshell about Olivia and this one’s interesting.
According to the reality star, during the unaired girl’s day, the ladies were sharing what they planned to do if they ended up with Matt.
“Olivia had said to us multiple times that she wanted to continue [working an office job] if she was chosen by Matt.
“Then, as the show went on, she told us: ‘I’m going to be a farmer.'”
Annabelle then explained that she thought Olivia was changing her answer to suit what she thought Matt would want to hear.
“When Matt told us that he’s going to move to Canberra and leave the farm, Olivia said: ‘Oh, thank God, you want to do that. Because I want to keep working in admin.’
“So she’s telling us girls at one point, she wants to be a farmer. And then the next point she’s wanting to do office work?”
Sheesh! The drama just doesn’t end, does it?
