The Bachelor Australia‘s Keira Maguire is due to front court in August as she faces multiple assault charges following an alleged bar altercation.
Keira, who made a name for herself as the “villain” during Richie Strahan‘s season of the dating show in 2016, has been ordered to appear before Melbourne’s Magistrates Court for a mention hearing on August 3 for an incident that occurred in March.
The 37-year-old was with friends at The Osborne Rooftop and Bar in South Yarra when she allegedly threw her drink on a woman in a nearby booth, according to the Herald Sun.
The publication said it is believed police were called, and CCTV was retrieved from the venue.
Following the incident, former Love Island Australia winner Anna McEvoy said she witnessed the alleged attack.
Anna, 31, described the debacle as “wild” and “unhinged” on her Where’s Your Head At? podcast.
“I didn’t see it happen but I was very much there, I saw the aftermath and I was in shock,” she said.
“I couldn’t believe it happened to be honest… I’m very much in shock.”
Anna hosts the podcast with Keira’s ex, Matt Zukowski. However, sources claimed at the time it was a PR romance.

As reported in episode 51 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one insider alleged that not only did Matt dump Keira because he “couldn’t stand” her, but that their relationship was known to be a “mutually beneficial” publicity stunt within their inner circle.
“Matt told Love Island friends when they first got together that they had a mutual agreement to date each other for publicity,” they said.
“He’s been telling all his mates that he only dated her for Instagram followers and more fame.”
Kind of ironic if true, considering Keira claimed Anna and Matt were “pretending to be together to get exposure” for their podcast, which launched over a year ago.
