Bride and Prejudice Australia 2019‘s Dannii Erskine has returned to Instagram following claims that she’d “faked” her death.

The reality star has been wrapped up in controversy after someone claiming to be her sister Dee told So Dramatic! she had died after being “T-boned” by a drunk driver in late April.

After she was confirmed to be alive, Dannii contacted So Dramatic! and alleged someone had hacked her Instagram account, which was littered with memorium posts about the 28-year-old.

However, sources have told us that she has made these allegations before and “faked” her death in 2022.

Now, Dannii has taken to Instagram to reveal she has “risen from the dead”.

“Well, well, well… Somebody has had a good old time posting on my social media and causing a lot of issues the last week and a half,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself in a hospital gown.

“I have risen from the dead and am very much alive.”

She continued by saying she was “incredibly sore” following an ankle reconstruction on May 1, after she was injured in a “real car accident” in September 2022.

She added that she had been hospitalised and in a rehab facility for three months following the incident, which she shared a photo of involving two cars.

Dannii Erskine addresses family confirming her death

As reported by So Dramatic!, members of Dannii’s family confirmed her death on social media and via text after a cousin enquired about funeral arrangements.

“What time is the funeral for Dannii? I’d love to pay my respects,” Lauren Seinskre asked Dannii’s mother, Donna.

“Unless she’s not dead and your family is lying again.”

In a second Instagram caption, Dannii addressed her family’s response to the situation and called her cousin a “troublemaker”.

She then said her loved ones were “inundated with comments and messages” which “resulted” in them keeping up the charade of her death.

“[It] may have resulted in them returning these messages just agreeing with her narrative to silence her.”

Dannii Erskine claims to have been hacked again

Dannii also shared a photo of her injured ankle and described how the past weeks’ events have affected her.

“My account was hacked and I received a message stating that my accounts had been signed into from a device located in Geelong, whilst I was in a hospital on the Mornington Peninsula,” she explained.

“‘I am currently still in hospital trying to clean this mess up, but I can’t control what people say.

“In summary, I want to say that the last two weeks have been very stressful, and I was told to shut off and focus on my foot, which is why I have not spoken out publicly sooner… I will say this through, I am extremely sorry for what was posted.

“It’s not just disgusting, but it’s very cruel.”

She later purchased a “verified” blue tick for her Instagram account, which has since been set to private.

Her username has also since been changed, and her verified status removed.
