The Real Housewives of Sydney is getting rebooted after a five-year hiatus, and word on the street is that NRL WAG Terry Biviano is joining the starting lineup.
Streaming service Binge confirmed that the series, which was canned after one season in 2019, will return this year with a “new group of Sydney housewives”.
While several names have already been thrown in the ring as potential cast members, we hadn’t had any confirmation until one spy slid into the DMs to dish that Bondi Vet Hospital owner Kate Adams has already begun filming.
Now, The Daily Telegraph has revealed that Terry is the latest to be cast in the highly anticipated reboot, dishing that there’s a lot of “chatter” surrounding her participation.
Who is Terry Biviano?
The 48-year-old is known for her self-titled footwear line, Terry Biviano. She later rose to public prominence when she wed former NRL Sydney Roosters star Anthony Minichiello in January 2012.
The pair later welcomed their first and only child, daughter Azura Trésor, in December 2013, who inspired her mother’s children’s footwear label, Mini by Terry Biviano.
Her Instagram, which is flooded with lavish snaps more than worthy of a Real Housewife, hones over 45,000 followers. Not bad for a budding reality TV star!
However, The Real Housewives of Sydney *technically* won’t be Terry’s first reality rodeo.
In 2012, she starred in the short-lived series WAG Nation, which followed the wives and girlfriends of athletes across the NRL, AFL and NBL.
Who is Kate Adams?
As revealed in episode 283 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Dr Kate Adams is already in front of the RHOS cameras.
“They said they will be commencing filming in the coming months but filming has already started,” our insider dished.
“They just said that to put the paps and media off.” Genius!
According to her personal website, Kate describes herself as an entrepreneur, speaker and media personality.
In her website’s bio, the veterinarian says she’s “a bit out of the box”, stating she’s always had “big dreams, a curiosity about life and an unwavering sense of determination.”
Her passion for pets and science led her to become the owner of Sydney’s Bondi Vet Hospital.
However, Kate wears many hats. She’s also the Director for the ASX-listed medical cannabis company, Cannpal Animal Therapeutics and the founder of gift card tech business Thankly. Whew. It sounds like she’s girl-bossing her way through life!
Who is Sally Obermeder?
According to Daily Mail Australia, former TV news anchor Sally Obermeder has also signed onto The Real Housewives of Sydney.
The 49-year-old was most recently the co-host of Channel Seven’s The Daily Edition from 2013 to 2020.
The author of SIX books, including recipe chronicles, Dinner’s Done and Super Green Super Easy, Sally is also the founder of the wellness brand SWIISH by Sally Obermeder.
Making her the ideal TV housewife, Sally has been married to former wealth manager-turned-wellness entrepreneur Marcus Obermeder for almost 22 years.
The couple share two daughters, Annabelle and Elissa.
