Aesha Scott has spilled the tea on her surprising relationship with singer-songwriter John Mayer while speaking to her fellow I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia 2023 campmates.
During the April 18 episode, the Below Deck star revealed that the Hollywood A-Lister is a massive fan of the yachting reality show after meeting her on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live in July last year.
“I was very touched by that,” Aesha said.

Radio host Woody Whitelaw fished for more details by asking Aesha, 29, if the serial dater was being “a bit flirty”.
“I don’t think he was being overly flirty,” she said. “He was just being nice.”
“I think he was keen, Aesha,” Woody replied.
“I think he might have been a little bit keen. He’s watched all of your episodes of Below Deck and then he has asked about you for months after that.
“I’ve got a feeling John Mayer is still pretty keen! I know you’re a taken woman, but you should steer clear of John Mayer.” If only Taylor Swift listened to that advice!

The Below Deck Down Under stew has been with her boyfriend Scotty Dobbo since 2020.
The pair went to high school together but lost touch in the years following. But they reconnected and have been inseparable since.
“I’m so in love with him,” Aesha said in January. “We’re coming up on three years now and I just still adore every single part of him. So, I feel very lucky.”

Woody remarked how “beautifully, blissfully ignorant” Aesha was of the flirty encounter.
“It is actually so gorgeous,” he told Aesha.
Woody continued fangirling Aesha and said “I would say fame has affected Aesha in no way at all” in the diary room.
“I imagine the person that I’ve met in this experience is exactly the same as the person who existed before Below Deck.”
