One of Australia’s most eligible bachelors, The Bachelor Australia 2019′s Matt Agnew is reportedly off the market and in a relationship with former Real Housewives of Melbourne star Kyla Kirkpatrick.
According to the Herald Sun, the pair struck up a romance several months ago but have managed to keep it under wraps…until now.
As far as we know, they haven’t stepped out together in public but according to the publication, are set to make their debut “at an event soon”.
Kyla, who is known as the Champagne Dame, joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Melbourne in 2021 and since then has been a regular on the social scene.
Meanwhile, Matt rose to prominence on The Bachelor Australia, choosing Chelsie McLeod at the final rose ceremony.
But the astrophysicist and his final pick ended their relationship after just two months together, and Matt was once again looking for love.
News of Matt’s romance comes after rumours he was dating long-time friend Kate Reid of the famous Melbourne croissant shop Lune.
The former Formula 1 engineer turned celebrity baker and Matt attended the Grand Prix party together in Melbourne last month and fans were quick to suspect they were together after the 35-year-old shared snaps on his Instagram.
But now it seems they’re nothing more than just friends.
Who is Kyla Kirkpatrick?
The 42-year-old champagne educator was a newcomer to the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Melbourne alongside OG Melbourne queens Janet Roach, Gamble Breaux and Jackie Gilles.
But the show just didn’t match up to the hype of other seasons and the sixth season was cancelled.
Kyla confirmed her split from her fiance Kyriacos Christodoulou in January last year.
She told the Herald Sun she and Kyriacos – who is also her business partner – split just before Christmas 2020.
“It has been a tough Christmas. We have decided, well he decided actually, that we were going our separate ways and now we are navigating the complexities of being in business together and family,” she told the publication.
They share an eight-year-old daughter, Arlington-Rose.
