Tayla Winter has revealed that she wanted to be paired with Cameron Woods on Married at First Sight Australia 2023 and colour us shocked.
The 27-year-old was matched with Hugo Armstrong, however, she wishes the experts went in a different direction.
“I wish I was partnered up with Cam because I know that we would have had a lot of fun,” the nurse told Nine.
“I do believe that there would be room to explore something with Cam if we were living in the same state. We probably could have made it work.”
However, in a separate interview with Nine, the 27-year-old carpenter confirmed that he wouldn’t be more than friends with the intruder bride.
“The relationship between Tayla and I – I’m just going to put the nail in the coffin right here. There is no relationship,” he said. Ouch!
“We had a bit of friendly chat and banter after the Final Vows and after everything was done… to the point where I was horrors in a night club and I got my willy out on FaceTime,” he added.

During the MAFS Reunion on April 3, Tayla and Cameron confirmed that they were “just friends” for the gazillionth time.
When asked about her relationship with her co-star, Tayla replied that it “[hadn’t] been explored yet.”
Interesting. We think hooking up during filming is definitely considered “exploring”…
Cameron chimed in, explaining that he showed Tayla his p*nis at a nightclub, but other than that, they were just friends. WTAF!
However, despite stating that they’re only friends, Tayla confessed that the only thing that was holding her back was distance.
“I really like Cam as a friend,” she said.
“We get along really, really well. Yeah, there’s not much to it. Like, he’s up in Darwin, I’m down in Tassie.
“He’s on the other side of Australia, which makes it hard, so [that’s it].”
Hmm. Something isn’t adding up!
