Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s intruder bride Evelyn Ellis has shared why she’s struggled to find a partner in her leaked audition tape.
When asked about her dating life pre-MAFS, the marketing manager described it as worse than “non-existent” and finally someone we can relate to…
“I feel like people don’t understand when I say it’s non-existent,” she shared.
To the 26-year-old, there are “four fundamental places people find their partners.”
“One is work. People at my work literally borderline have arthritis,” she laughed.
According to the model, the second place to find a match is dating apps, which the bride “[refuses] to use.”
She then stated that the third place is “mutual friends”, which she immediately ruled out.
“Four would be going out. I don’t know the last time you girls went out in Sydney but it’s f*cking rough out there,” she continued.
Well, we guess that leaves MAFS as the only appropriate alternative!
Evelyn also shared that she’s previously struggled to show off her vulnerable side.
“I guess I kind of have this tough exterior going on and I think some people are intimidated by that,” she confessed.
“The right person will peel those layers off. They will see the vulnerable side of me. But it takes a while and it takes trust.”
Evelyn reveals that she’s picky when it comes to men
When asked who she’d like to be matched with, Evelyn revealed that she’s quite picky when it comes to appearances.
“No tattoos. Well, they can have a few, but I’m not into the bogan tatts,” she spilled.
She then shared that she likes “white guys” with “brown features” that are tall and “muscley”. Sounds like Justin Bieber fits the bill…
“Good luck finding this person,” she remarked, “because I’d doubt if they would do this experiment, which is what concerns me the most.”
