Fans are convinced Married at First Sight Australia 2023 couple Rupert Bugden and Evelyn Ellis are still together IRL but what is their current relationship status?
Despite being embroiled in the infamous butt dial scandal it seemed like the MAFS couple were in it for the long haul after they were recently spotted enjoying breakfast, not to mention getting Botox injections together.

However, as revealed in episode 267 of the So Dramatic! Podcast, another contestant revealed they’re unfortunately no longer together.
“Rupert and Evelyn were just friends the whole time,” they dished, adding, “They were never even romantic.
“They’re not in love but they stay until the end.”
Adding: “They’re still friends and on speaking terms. They’ve been hanging out and doing pap pics and stuff to make it look like they’re still together but they’re not.”
What are Rupert and Evelyn doing now?
So we guess that leaves Evelyn free to hang out with the likes of controversial YouTuber Andrew Tate or perhaps another fling with Justin Bieber?
Not to mention, plenty of time to launch her new podcast – because who said the MAFS contestants weren’t in it for the fame?
Meanwhile, Rupert’s single status has been short-lived after an insider told So Dramatic! he’s already trying to get back on the horse.
A number of weeks ago the source sent us screenshots of her messages with Rupert before he went on the show.
“It appears the MAFS ‘experts’ didn’t expertly match intruder Rupert Bugden with a wife,” they dished.
“We were messaging before he went on the show. He told me he was going on it, so I didn’t bother catching up with him prior because what’s the point?!
Rupert then messaged the woman after filming asking to catch up for drinks again, to which she replied: “Thought you had a wife?’
Rupert responded saying, “No comment.” Very telling!
