Abbie Chatfield has taken “scum paparazzi” to task after they were caught taking photos of her while topless on the beach.

The serial reality star took to Instagram on January 17 to call out one particular paparazzo with a bid for them to stop capitalising on “the patriarchal idea that [her] nipples are salacious”.

Alongside an image of the culprit dressed incognito behind a bush, Abbie slammed the “scum paparazzi talentless loser leeches”.

“Can you… stop taking photos of me at the beach with my tits out?” she questioned. “I don’t give a sh*t if the public see my nipples, clearly [because] I’m in public [right now].

“But for a gross loser freak man weasel to make money off the patriarchal idea that my nipples are salacious is BULLSH*T.”

The 27-year-old added that the incident “happens far too often”.

“F*CK THE F*CK OFF. THANKS,” the FBOY Island Australia host concluded.

Abbie then shared the grid post to her Story, labelling the photographers in question “loser freak paps”.

Supporters flock to the comment section of Abbie Chatfield’s post to condemn the paparazzi

Friends and fans of Abbie’s flocked to the comment section of her post to condemn the paparazzi, with many suggesting the act “needs to be made illegal”.

“This is so cooked,” Matt Agnew, Abbie’s former TV flame, said.

The Bachelor franchise host Osher Günsberg criticised the photographer, who reportedly also took photos of his son, Wolfie.

“Ah that f*ckin’ guy. He’s never seen my nipples but he’s equally hidden in bushes with a long lens taking photos of other people’s children playing (ie: Wolfie and me),” he wrote.

“Which in no universe is an ok thing and would get the cops called quick smart normally but apparently when it’s for a news outlet it’s ok. It’s pretty f*cking far from ok.”

Gender equality activist Gina Martin also weighs in on Abbie’s post

Meanwhile, gender equality activist Gina Martin highlighted that tabloid photographers often take creative liberties despite the laws in place.

“Funny how this shit could literally be argued as voyeurism by law in NSW (which is illegal) but the paps somehow get through on a cultural loophole,” she penned.

“I changed the law in the England [sic] and Wales and made upskirt images illegal and yet even with that the paparazzi STILL DO IT.”

*Technically*, the photographer taking photos of Abbie topless in a public setting isn’t illegal, but it’s super f*cking gross. To then onsell the pics as what will probably be touted as a “NSFW act” when she’s just trying to enjoy her day is even worse.

Do better.
