The Bachelors Australia has unveiled a new promo pic of host Osher Günsberg featuring his dramatic new hair do ahead of the show’s premiere on January 9 – and fans are going absolutely wild for it.
ICYMI: The serial reality TV host had us all in a tizzy back in November when he first debuted a new platinum hairstyle on Instagram.
Now, the 48-year-old has again got fans talking after a promo pic featuring the host’s stark transformation was posted to The Bachelor Australia’s social media.
Reactions to Osher’s silver fox transformation were mixed, with some praising the change and others joking he now resembled a slew of other Aussie celebs, including actor Barry Crocker, and even Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins (???).
“Love Osher, but I thought this was Bob Downe doing a satire,” one fan commented.
A second sniped, “I hope it’s a joke. Ciarran [Stott] wannabe?” (ouch!)
Others were loving the change, with one fan writing, “Hunger Games and Caesar vibes, but I say let them do what they want to me if I was getting paid a bundle too! Good on him 👏”
Another added, “Be nice to Osher! He’s the best. Always looking good no matter what.”
Osher Günsberg previously revealed what lead to his drastic hair transformation
Back in November, Osher appeared on Today Extra where he revealed the motive behind his latest ~lewk~.
“I had Dr Joëlle Gergis on my podcast this week, she’s one of the lead authors of the IPCC [climate change] report… and after that podcast, my hair turned white,” he joked to hosts Sylvia Jeffries and David Campbell.
The dad-of-one then explained, “There’s a thing called ‘continuity’ in television, right, and when we’re making a show like The Bachelor, I’ve got to keep my hair the same.”
Osher added that now that filming has wrapped, he’s now free to do whatever he likes with his famous locks – and we for one welcome our new Silver Fox overlord!
