Abbie Chatfield has doubled down on her criticism of Brittany Hockley and labelled her a “pick me girl” after she failed to call out Kyle Sandiland’s slut-shaming comments on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

ICYMI: On December 13, the 27-year-old reality star blasted the radio shock jock and current co-host Brittany for offensive comments made about her during an interview with rapper Yung Gravy.

Now, the Masked Singer judge has again taken aim at her fellow Bachelor star again for “upholding patriarchal standards” during a fiery Instagram Story.

“Feminism and uplifting women isn’t about protecting individual women despite the fact they have tried to uphold patriarchy,’ Abbie explained. “This individual woman f***ed up and upheld patriarchal standards.

“She has been putting down all women and all of those affected by the patriarchy.”

She continued: “It’s about ensuring that we are dismantling patriarchal structures and standards, which she is upholding and by calling out this woman I am dismantling the patriarchy.”

Going in hard, the 2DayFM radio host went on to label Jackie O’s current KIISFM replacement as a “pick me” girl.

“That’s why ‘pick me’ girls as so disliked – because they are betraying their own gender,” Abbie stated.

“Pick me’s are only focused on upholding patriarchal structures and laughing along with the boys and think it’s okay to make slut-shaming jokes or misogynistic jokes because they ‘aren’t like other girls.'”

She continued: “They give a pass to misogynistic men to treat women the way they do because they’re the ‘cool girl.'”

The influencer also revealed that she reached out to Brittany to give her the chance to apologise – but she never replied.

“I also sent her a DM and gave her a chance to explain and say, ‘Listen, I’m so sorry. I freaked out. It’s a really hard gig and had a really hard time on this show,’ whatever,” Abbie revealed.

“I would have probably left it at that, but she hasn’t responded it.

“So if you think that it’s a simple mistake, it’s not – it’s either she believes these things, or she isn’t cut out to have a platform that big, those are the options.”
