Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2022’s Erin Dore has called out Farmer Benjamin Jackson‘s “bullsh*t” behaviour after they rekindled their romance post-show.
ICYMI: Erin was one of Benjamin’s final picks before he pulled out of the show due to health reasons, leaving his leading ladies out in the cold.
The ex-contestant then told So Dramatic! via DM that he’d “ghosted” her after they got in touch once filming concluded.
Now, Erin has revealed during a tell-all interview in episode 236 of the So Dramatic! podcast that she quickly became “p*ssed off” with how Benjamin handled things.
According to the 32-year-old, the pair began talking again after Benjamin replied to her Instagram Story.
During filming, she left a note with her phone number before leaving the farm, which Benjamin later used to contact her.
“I slipped a note into his bedroom as we were leaving, just with my phone number saying, ‘I hope our story doesn’t end here, it’d be a real shame, but I know the pressure you’ve been under, blah blah blah’.”
Erin explained the following day after Benjamin replied to her Instagram Story, she woke up to a text from the farmer “saying he’d just found” the note, Erin said the duo continued “texting for a few months”.
“Then all of a sudden, I just never heard from him again.”

According to Erin, Benjamin “still had a really muddled brain” due to the “severe stress” he was under on the show.
However, she was also facing difficulties of her own after her Gympie flower farm was washed away during the floods in February.
“So we were just kind of texting and offering each other support and stuff,” she said, noting it “wasn’t just friendzone kind of text messaging”.
As such, she was thrown for a six when she never heard from Benjamin again.
“My question has always been, ‘Why the hell reach out to me in the first place if you didn’t want to give it a go once you got better?'” Erin pondered.
“‘Why bother getting in contact with me if you didn’t want to give it a whirl?'”
She continued: “It got to a point where I was like, ‘This is bullsh*t, I can’t believe an adult would do this.’
“Given that I sacrificed so much of my time and my life to go on this show and get to know him. You know… I was really p*ssed off.”

Erin previously addressed her frustration with Benjamin on November 25, sharing an explosive post about their relationship.
The image was of a poem that read: “I shall pass through this world but once. Any good thing, therefore, I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now; let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” Deep.
She then captioned the post: “A few weeks after we left the farm, Benjamin reached out to me unprovoked, led me on for a few months and then *poof* he ghosted me… a fully grown adult man 🤷♀️ [sic],” she revealed.
“No explanation, no closure, nothing — lovely bloke 🙄 (he’s recovered now too btw so ZERO excuses) [sic].” OOFT!
