Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2022’s Erin Dore has dropped a major bombshell about Farmer Benjamin Jackson.
ICYMI: Erin was one of Benjamin’s final picks before he pulled out of the show due to health reasons, leaving his leading ladies out in the cold.
Now, as reported in episode 234 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the former contestant has revealed that she not only was in contact with the sheep farmer post-show, but he GHOSTED her!
Before we get to Erin’s explosive claims, we first have to draw your attention to an Instagram post that she uploaded on November 25.

The image was of a poem that read: “I shall pass through this world but once. Any good thing, therefore, I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now; let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” Deep.
She then captioned the post: “A few weeks after we left the farm, Benjamin reached out to me unprovoked, led me on for a few months and then *poof* he ghosted me… a fully grown adult man 🤷♀️ [sic],” she revealed.
“No explanation, no closure, nothing — lovely bloke 🙄 (he’s recovered now too btw so ZERO excuses) [sic].” OOFT!
Erin then dug the knife in a little bit further.
“So I think it’s about time I sent this ‘gift’ back to where it came from, he needs this life advice far more than I ever will [sic],” she penned.
A fan responded to Erin’s post by saying that they were an “ideal match” because of “his eccentricity and your [Erin’s] fun-loving nature.”
To which Erin responded: “He’s a trained actor… I’m sure you can see where I’m going with this.” WUT?!

When So Dramatic! reached out to Erin for clarification, she responded with a very telling answer.
“The piece of prose was a gift he [Benjamin] gave me at the final date,” she said before saying that it was a “nice moment” that “never made it to air”.
“A few weeks after us girls had to leave the farm, he looked me up on Instagram out of the blue and started messaging me. We then started texting and were so for about two months. He was sending me messages with love hearts and kiss emojis.
“And then one day, for no apparent reason, I just never heard from him again, not a single response. So yes, ghosted.”
Erin then revealed that she was ready to give the gift back to him, because she lives her “life that way and think[s] maybe he’s the one who should hang this above his toilet!” LOLZ.
“I understand people change their minds and that’s totally fine, but he has never done the honourable or respectful thing and given me closure, which I find absolutely disgusting!”
The reality star admitted she had asked “many times”, waiting “patiently” for him to give her “closure”.
“I’d expect this behaviour from an immature teenage boy, not a mature age farmer. But perhaps this is why he needed to go on the show.”
Erin once again referenced Benjamin’s “acting” degree, however, was perplexed that no one seemed “to touch on that fact.”
“I’m not bitter, I always knew there was a big chance I’d walk away empty-handed. But the way I was treated is what I’m royally p*ssed off about.”
Ouch!
