The Challenge Australia 2022 hasn’t even begun airing, and ~aLreAdy~ the behind-the-scenes tea is piping hot!
While we know that Britt Hockley has a MAHOOSIVE go at a co-star, Cyclone Cyrell Paule is back and Megan Marx and Konrad Bien Stephen hooked up in #HotTubGate; apparently, this is nothing compared to what’s about to come.
According to an insider, who revealed all to the Herald Sun, the producers were genuinely shook by the amount of drama that transpired.
Firstly, we were not at all surprised because we expected this level of drama from a bunch of reality stars; however, the production team truly was so stunned that they apparently staged an “executive intervention”.
“It was the first time anything like that had to be done,” the source said.
Then, another on-set source dished to Daily Mail Australia that the contestants were massively p*ssed that the crew had gone in with a “plan of attack”.
Meaning they had already decided on the EPIC rivalries beforehand. TBF it’s genius and will make for GREAT TV.
“It started on the plane over,” the source revealed. “Cyrell Paule was already beefing with Grant Crapp about a promise he’d made to her before filming.
“Jessica Brody and Ciarran Stott were eying each other off, too.” Ooft!
What Else Has Happened Behind the Scenes of The Challenge Australia?
After months of drama and anticipation, fans saw Konrad and Megan’s messy hookup on The Challenge Australia 2022 in the brand-new trailer.
As previously reported, the two Bachelor franchise favourites caused quite the stir when news of their hookup hit the headlines — even though Konrad’s split from Abbie Chatfield was yet to be made public.
Even more suspect, Megan’s relationship breakdown with Keith Newman had also not come to light, particularly because he was still posting loved-up pics on the ‘gram!
Then, it was revealed that Brooke Blurton had reportedly been caught up in a “messy” love triangle with Konrad and Megan, while Jack Vidgen was ready to spill on the sh*thouse conditions before filming began!
Meanwhile, Ryan Gllagher and Emily Seebohm also hooked up, and Suzan Mutesi was busted for face-tuning the f*ck out of her Challenge headshot!
