Married at First Sight Australia 2020’s Hayley Vernon has saved the life of a woman whose car caught on fire.
Taking to her Instagram Story on October 19, the Season Seven star said she was driving through the Gold Coast when she saw a car broken down on the side of the road and a young lady beside it.
“That literally was so crazy,” the MAFS bride said, “and there was a girl broken down on the side of the road. I could see under her car fuel dripping and it was on fire.”
She continued: “She was standing next to her car, and I was on the other side of the freeway.”
Hayley then “quickly” turned her car, adding that “other people would have noticed it too, but no one f*cking stopped”.
“That doesn’t surprise me at all. This is the f*cking world that we’re living in,” she said.
The 32-year-old “legged it across the median strip” and yelled: “Get out of the way of your f*cking car!”.
The MAFS bride then grabbed her and took her aside, while another man who was driving past luckily stopped and took a fire extinguisher out of his car.
“This girl was just standing next to her car that was on fire, and I was just like, “Oh my god, she’s so lucky that we both stopped because it could have been…wow, I just couldn’t believe [it]. It was like something out of a movie.”

When So Dramatic! reached out for comment, she said: “I just did what was right in that moment and what was necessary. If more people did what was right, the world would be a far better place.”
Then she added: “I feel good. Nothing rattles me too much. I’ve seen it all.”
While she was certainly a hero in our eyes at that moment, she was “perplexed as to why the vast majority didn’t do anything”.
Hayley Vernon Slammed the Other Drivers Who Didn’t Stop to Help
In another Instagram Story after the incident, Hayley admitted that she called her dad, saying: “I can’t believe no one was helping” before adding that “nothing surprises me”.
“Dad said that girl could of been locked in a burning car, and people would have kept driving, I agreed — people literally don’t give a f*ck until it’s their problem — then, on the other hand, you help people, you know, and they forget the hand that fed them [sic].”
The OnlyFans star then lamented that the “people that kept driving are most likely the same people that point the finger at me for what I do.”
“Yeh I do [s]ex work, I’m a [s]ex worker, I make adult content but I’m a f*cking good c*nt!”
She then went on to ask: “What the f*ck is everyone’s excuses that they point the fingers at me and my peers and act like f*cking grubs with no respect, manners or decency?”
“If your [sic] so above us all, where are your actions? Because all I here [sic] is f*cking talk…”
The high-class escort then added that “100%” of guys and girls in her industry have “authenticity over anyone! (Minus a small handful)”.
“The fact of the matter is most of you guys are petrified to actually do anything and feel safe talking shot [sic] about others that take the risks and still can be good people.”
