Married at First Sight Australia 2020′s Hayley Vernon experienced a recent breast cancer scare after finding a suspicious lump in early October.

Taking to her Instagram Story on October 10, the reality TV alum explained she went straight in for a scan after finding an unusual protrusion causing “dull pain” near her breast implant.

“Today, I went and had a breast ultrasound. After weeks of stress, today was the day I was going to get answers,” she told her followers.

The 35-year-old continued: “I can’t begin to tell you the amount of anxiety, fear and emotion I faced when they told me to get changed.

“I broke down in tears thinking of every woman that has walked into the same room before me and had been told bad news.”

Married at First Sight’s Hayley Vernon Confirms She Was “In The Clear” After Breast Cancer Scare

Hayley confirmed she was “in the clear” and the lump was a “lymph node”; however, she is set to get further scans next month.

“The amount of relief I feel is huge, but I also can’t help but think of all those women who are taking on that challenge that I so easily could of been facing too,” she said.

Hayley finished her heartfelt post by urging her fans to get checked when they find any signs or symptoms.
