Channel Ten has just unveiled which of our favourite reality shows are returning in 2023, including when TF The Bachelors will air.

On October 6, the leading network held its annual Upfronts event in collaboration with Paramount+, revealing the shows padding out the remainder of 2022 and what we’ll be dying to watch in the New Year.

Fans will be THRILLED to learn that MasterChef Australia will return to the kitchen as will The Bachelors — the one series that keeps us up at night wondering if and when it’ll air after being scrapped from the 2022 lineup.

Now, Channel Ten has dished that the revamped dating series will premiere on January 2. Thank f*ck!

“What better way to start the year than with a Rose Ceremony? We’ll see you in January!” a post on the show’s official Instagram read.

The new timeslot means I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! has been pushed back to a timeslot around Easter.

Despite the delay, it IS returning to South Africa after COVID restrictions kept the show within Australia for the past two seasons.

Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris have signed on to host once again.

What Other Shows Are Returning to Channel Ten?

Several other tentpole series have also been renewed for 2023.

This includes Australian Survivor, with the theme of Heroes v Villains, as previously reported by So Dramatic!.

Jonathan LaPaglia is at its helm yet again.

The Dog House, Would I Lie to You? and Gogglebox Australia are also scheduled to go ahead.

New to the slate in 2022, Hunted Australia has been picked up for a second season; however, in 2023, it will be filmed in NSW instead of Victoria like the first stint.

As for the remainder of 2022, The Challenge Australia and The Traitors are yet to air.

What New Reality Shows Have Been Announced By Channel Ten for 2023?

If one season of MasterChef isn’t enough to tie foodies over, Ten has revealed that a spinoff called Dessert Masters is on the horizon.

Making its debut in 2023, the series follows ten dessert aficionados battling it out for the win.

For the first time on free-to-air telly, Location, Location, Location will see homebuyers turn their dream home into a reality.

Taskmaster Australia is an Aussie spin on the hit UK game show and will be hosted by Tom Gleeson and his “assistant”, Tom Cashman.

Each episode will see the duo set five comedians on a range of tasks that are sure to have viewers in stitches.

Julia Morris, Luke McGregor, Jimmy Rees, Nina Oyama, and Danielle Walker are all set to appear in the inaugural season.

The Bachelorette Australia Won’t Make a Comeback In 2023

The Bachelorette Australia was put on hiatus for 2022, despite Ten promising its return at last year’s Upfronts event.

Now, this year’s presentation has notably omitted the Bachelor franchise spinoff; however, it hasn’t been completely killed off… yet.

“The Bachelorette is not gone for good; it’s just being rested,” Daniel Monaghan, head of programming at Ten, told the Sydney Morning Herald.

Welp, we won’t be holding our breath…
