The Block 2022‘s Omar Slaimankhel and Osman “Oz” Malik have fled overseas as backlash over their behaviour on the renovation show hits new heights.
The best mates from Sydney continue to cop criticism en masse, thanks to their “dodgy” behaviour and the controversial AF “piano-gate“.
As reported in episode 218 of the So Dramatic! podcast, it seems Omar and Oz have made a break for it after they were spotted on a flight to Bali.
Sliding into our DMs, one spy said they were “sitting in the seat behind them” and overheard them spilling tea about the show.
“I overheard them telling a passenger next to them that they are getting hammered on the show, and it’s only going to get worse for them,” the source recalled.
“They wanted to get away for a bit to escape it all before the auction and let their hair down.”

According to the A+ supersleuth, the House Five contestants also roasted TF out of long-time The Block foreman, Keith.
“They were also b*tching about Keith and called him a snob,” they remembered. “They said that he thinks he’s better than everyone else.”
What’s more, Omar and Oz told fellow passengers that “the rest of the cast are stuck-up idiots”. OUCH!
The brutal commentary follows reports that the Sydneysiders had plenty of firey stoushes with their tradies off-screen during off-site arguments.
“They kept everything like that off-site and would have meetings in private and not on camera so they wouldn’t look bad, which is also against the rules,” one insider told So Dramatic! host Megan Pustetto.
The ongoing conflicts reportedly caused many of their builders to quit.
