There’s no denying that Selling the OC‘s Alex Hall is THE Main Character, but it turns out she initially opted not to appear on Netflix’s Selling Sunset spinoff.
The interior designer-turned-realtor is one of 11 new agents at the Orange County branch of the Oppenheim Group, and let’s just say this office is giving the OG realtors a run for their money where drama is concerned.
However, things may have been a bit tamer (and less addictive) had Jason Oppenheim not convinced Alex to sign onto the series.
Chatting to PEOPLE, the California native said a two-hour phone call was what it took to change her mind.
“He [Jason] basically told me I’d be stupid not to do it!” she told the publication.
However, there was another drawcard for Alex when it came to Selling the OC — the show’s producer also happened to be one of the brains behind her favourite series, Laguna Beach.
With her high-end real estate career spanning close to a decade and a background in interior design, it’s no surprise that the 26-year-old is yuge competition in OC’s housing market.
And, now that she’s joined the O Group, her success is only growing.
According to the newly minted reality star, her “biggest real estate flex” is, well, joining a show about flexing on your real estate.
“It’s already opened so many doors (pardon the pun),” she told PEOPLE. “Including being a part of a $100 million dollar listing.” Yup, that’s the sound of our eyes watering…
Selling the OC‘s Alex Hall Loves Living the High Life
According to Alex’s Instagram bio, the Netflix star is “living in paradise”. And TBH, this is only to be expected after learning that she has a net worth of approximately $5 million!
However, a quick scroll through her feed shows that she’s relatively normal (as normal as a reality star can be) and has a bunch of endearing hobbies.
This includes rollerskating with her pup, relaxing on the beach with her friends and spending quality time with her two children, whom she shares with her ex-husband.
Her kids are also the reason she channels her boss b*tch energy and realty talents.
“Anything I can to secure a future for my children and me, I pretty much with do,” she told Women’s Health. “My goal for this journey is staying true to myself and staying grounded.”
