The Bachelor Australia‘s Bec Cvilikas has pulled no punches after she was questioned about her long-standing feud with former bestie and co-star, Bella Varelis.
The pair became fast friends after meeting on Locky Gilbert‘s season in 2020 and quickly became well-known within Bondi social circles.
However, things took a mysterious turn when the gals appeared to go their separate ways after living together for some time. But fans have since remained in the dark about their acrimonious falling out.
During an Instagram Q&A on August 16, Bec was questioned about the nature of her relationship with Bella.
After one fan asked whether she was still friends with Bella, the 27-year-old said she’ll answer the question “once”.
“I feel like you guys know the answer to this, but I will acknowledge it once and once only,” she penned.
“Bella and I have no contact what so ever [sic]. I will never ever disclose the reasons why we are no longer friends.”
The influencer went on to say that the pair have moved on from that time in their lives, concluding: “It’s so sweet that so many of you were so invested in our friendship, but we’ve both well and truly closed that chapter.”
These days, Bec creates content from the Sunshine Coast, while Bella has become a much sought-after influencer in Sydney.
Has Anyone Else Spoken About Bec Cvilikas and Bella Varelis’ Friendship?
In July 2021, a friend of both Bec and Bella told The Daily Telegraph that things became tense a few months prior.
“They had a disagreement a few months ago and unfollowed each other on Instagram,” the source told the publication.
However, the source of their rift is still unknown after Bec — who was heavily featured on her bestie’s Instagram page — stopped appearing in Bella’s posts following a trip to the Gold Coast.
When So Dramatic! reached out to Bec at the time, The Bachelor babe said she didn’t want to “rock the boat”.
You know I’m not one to rock the boat, so unfortunately no comment from me!” We all know that “no comment” speaks volumes!
Bec and Bella both made it into the final four of The Bachelor 2020. This was alongside Izzy Sharman-Firth and Irena Srbinovska (Locky’s now fiancé), who also had a falling out with Bella.
The pair were good friends during the experience before Bella dubbed the eventual winner a “manipulative little b*tch”.
