The Bachelorette Australia‘s Georgia Love has hit back at trolls who called her out for wearing “grandma” swimwear on her European getaway.
The 33-year-old is currently travelling around Europe’s finest locations with her husband, Lee Elliott, for a belated honeymoon following their Tasmanian wedding in early 2021.
Georgia has taken to Instagram several times during the trip to share snaps of glittering oceans and hot AF outfits.
However, the journalist has revealed that there a few people among her followers who have a little too much to say about the swimwear she chooses to sport.
In a screenshot of DMs shared to her Story, Georgia called out one user for trolling her get-ups.
“You need a more flattering bathing suit lol,” one message in the thread said.
A second DM from the same person read: “Omg get some nice bathing suits you look like my 94yrd grandmother [sic].” Charming!
In true Georgia fashion (and that’s GREAT fashion, BTW), the ex-reality star took the comments in her stride.
“Imagine getting trolled for wearing one pieces,” she penned. “Also, remind me when I’m 94 if I still look like this I’m fecking KILLING IT! [sic].”
Georgia Love Cheekily Called Out Trolls Again
The clap-back at haters didn’t stop there for Georgia, however.
Taking to the ‘gram with a grid post, the former Bachette stood next to some beachside palms in Mykonos to set up the ultimate pun.
“Palming off the negativity from people saying I look like a grandma for not wearing string bikinis,” she wrote alongside the hashtags: “haters gonna hate” and “bathers gonna bathe”.
Several of her fellow Bachelor franchise alumni took to the comments to voice support of the “grandma” togs and TBH, we are all for a one piece ourselves!
2019 Bachelorette Angie Kent mused that “string bikinis give [her] anxiety”.
“High waisted bathers and one pieces for the win babyyyy! You look shmokin. H@terz always have something to say. [sic].”
Similarly, Locky Gilbert‘s final Bachie pick and fiancée!), Irena Srbinovska, noted that Georgia looks “freakin incredible in anything”.
“Also I’m here for the one piece. Gorgeous.”
