Sound the alarm! Kyle Sandilands and fiancée Tegan Kynaston‘s baby has arrived!
The engaged pair revealed in February that they were expecting a son, further dishing in March that he was to be named Otto.
Now, after leaving The Kyle and Jackie O Show mid-broadcast on August 11, the infamous disc jockey has become a first-time dad!
Taking to the airwaves with an update, Kyle’s long-time co-host Jackie O Henderson told listeners of the heartwarming news.
“I have an announcement… Otto has been born!” Jackie — who is the newborn’s godmother — said. “We are so excited. Tegan’s really healthy. The baby’s healthy.”
Continuing, she read aloud a message from Kyle’s manager, Bruno: “Little Otto born this morning. Mum and bub both doing well. Kyle’s beyond excited and he will jump on the show tomorrow to chat all things Otto.”
The Kyle and Jackie O Show team then congratulated Jackie on her official godmother status, which was met with cheers.
“Sh*t’s getting real now,” she confessed. “To see [Kyle] become a father today is just life-changing and I couldn’t be happier for him.”

Otto’s arrival came not long after the radio host up and left The Kyle and Jackie O Show mid-broadcast due to Tegan going into labour.
“Guys, I am broadcasting from home for a reason and that reason seems to have raised its head now,” he expressed. “I think I might have to leave the show and go to the hospital.”
With anticipation mounting in the KIIS FM studio, Jackie asked: “Oh, it’s time?”
“It’s time,” Kyle confirmed.
Over the airwaves, The Kyle and Jackie O Show crew voiced their excitement over the pending new arrival.
However, the very soon-to-be dad told them all to “calm down”.
“We don’t want the kid coming out too soon, alright?” he said. “Guys, I am so sorry… I feel very unprepared. I’ve gotta run.”
“Kyle’s having a baby!” Jackie announced once again.
