Rumour has it that Love Island Australia fan-favourite Josh Moss is returning to the villa in 2022 for a second shot at love after he and OG Islander bae Amelia Marni called it quits.
The 29-year-old shot to fame in 2018 on the inaugural Aussie version of the show, where he met Amelia after she entered the villa as a bombshell.
While they finished in third place, they still emerged winners, taking their love into the real world.
Naturally, fans were SHOOK when the duo called it quits in April after nearly four years together.
However, it seems Josh may be on the up and up after a source told So Dramatic! that he is slated to return to the Love Island Australia villa this year.
The news comes just days after the beau admitted on his podcast, The Handbags (which he co-hosts with MAFS‘ Michael Brunelli), that he’s back on the dating scene.
“I’m out there. I’m single and mingling. I’m having a bit of fun with it all now. It’s a whole new world so I’m out there meeting people,” he dished.
“In saying that, I’m not like actively trying to search for someone or a strong connection. But if someone came along that I liked and I connected with and of course, I’ll just do that.”
So Dramatic! has reached out to Josh for comment.
Has Love Island Ever Brought Back a Past Contestant Before?
While Love Island Australia hasn’t dipped back into the pool of past contestants, its UK predecessor brought back a former Islander in its latest, eighth season.
For the first time ever, Love Island UK reintroduced a fan fave as a bombshell this year, welcoming 2018 star Adam Collard back into the villa.
As for Aussie Islanders, 2019 winner Josh Packham said he wouldn’t shy away from another shot on the dating show.
“I’d have to be watching to see if I liked any of the girls [to see] if I was prepared to go in and steal,” he confessed.
