Beauty and the Geek fans on Twitter were shocked after Sophie Monk roasted the condition of Michael Gebicki’s share house, with many claiming the brutal segment was out-of-touch.

During the July 27 episode, Michael introduced his partner Tara Schwarz to his six male housemates and gave her a tour around his share house.

The home was obviously not in excellent condition, with a broken window and a clear build-up of dirt and mould. But knowing Michael lives in Sydney with a large group of dudes in their 20-somethings, what else can you expect?

As millionaire Sophie hammered the state of the place, BATG fans pointed out that the questionable condition wasn’t as “unique” as the show made it out to be, with many viewers having seen or experienced similar share houses.

Beauty and the Geek Fans Were Divided on Twitter After Seeing Michael Gebicki’s Share House

Some fans quickly agreed with Sophie about the share house, which was edited like a horror film alongside a Psycho-esque soundtrack, even adding in the occasional scream audio.

Come on guys, it wasn’t nearly as bad as Cody Bromley‘s seedy bachelor pad on Married at First Sight Australia.

Beauty and the Geek viewers praised Tara for her “poker face”, with some claiming she may have reconsidered her relationship with Michael after seeing where he lived.

“The house had… a lot of character,” Tara said in a separate interview, adding: “A house of six guys, you know, it’s unique… I’m running out of diplomatic words.”

Do we want to live there? Probs not. Have we all been to a house just like this for a uni party? Abso-damn-lutely.
