If you’ve ever wanted to live in a piece of reality TV history, the first-ever Bachelor Australia mansion is now available for rent.
The jaw-dropping La Joie De Vivre mansion on Sydney’s North Shore is available for the low, low price of $6,500 per week (not to mention the casual $26,000 bond). LOL!
While it’s an architectural icon in its own right, the mansion’s biggest claim to fame is being the setting for the first season of The Bachelor Australia and the backdrop where Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich fell in love.
Bachie fans would best recognise the outside of the sprawling six-bedroom abode, however, even the biggest reality TV hater won’t be able to get past the mansion’s European charm and incredible Pittwater views. Luckily, you get the best of both!
There’s More to Sydney’s La Joie De Vivre Mansion Than Just Being A Bachelor Icon
According to realestate.com.au, the interior home apparently “exudes romance and style with elegant 24-carat gold filigree balustrades, parquet floors and arched French windows opening out to expansive sandstone terraces”. If you say so!
There are numerous formal and casual living areas spread across the mansion’s three levels, as well as luxurious accommodation including a self-contained studio retreat. Perfect for hiding a handsome Bachelor away from his potential lady lovers.
There’s also a ballroom-sized living space with an open fireplace (because, of course, there is). a banquet-sized dining room and a kitted-out home library.
Not to mention, the seven bathrooms dotted around the property because heaven forbid a guest has to wait for the loo.
Obviously, we’re gathering our mates and booking it stat, so that we too can live out our own Bachelor Australia fantasy!
