Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards have come a long way since finding love on The Bachelor 2013, with the couple now preparing for Anna’s SAS Australia 2022 debut.
Just 11 months after giving birth to their daughter Elle, the 34-year-old has been whipping herself into shape for the 2022 season with the help of her chiropractor husband.
“So proud of my girl for going ALL IN on this,” Tim wrote on Instagram, noting that it’s been an “incredible journey” so far.
“The training we’ve been able to do together, even with Elle in tow, has been an incredibly empowering and belief building journey for Anna… and brought us even closer as a family in lockdown.”
The Neighbours star and his Bachelor final pick tied the knot in June 2018 in Manduria, Italy.
Tim also confessed that he’s “enjoyed” bossing Anna around during their training sessions, which has included boxing! At least we know she’ll be prepared for the hand-to-hand combat challenges the DS throw at her!
The Harsh Reality Of Being A New Mum On SAS Australia!
Anna won’t be the first new mum to tackle the SAS Australia course.
This year, recruit and dual Olympian Jana Pittman took on the physically and mentally taxing course just six months postpartum.
In the season’s third episode, Jana revealed she wet herself during an excruciating fitness test.
The 38-year-old wet her pants on her way back to the show’s parade square after completing a series of exercises such as tyre flips, push-ups and burpees.
“I think I’m tough, but, I had a baby six months ago so I’m fighting that post-partum after-pregnancy body,” the mum-of-four confessed in a voiceover before she candidly told ex-Special Forces soldier Ant Middleton that she “couldn’t hold it” during the challenge.
The mum-of-four added that she was sharing the mishap for the benefit of women watching the show from home.
“No, but I just pissed myself on that run so that was embarrassing enough. Not intentionally but women at home need to know, after you have a baby, you don’t have a good pelvic floor if you try hard.”
Who Else Has Signed On For SAS Australia 2022?
On Sunday, SAS Australia revealed the 17 celebrity recruits who will take on the gruelling Special Forces selection course in 2022, which is set to begin filming very soon.
Joining Anna in the test of a lifetime is fellow Bachelor alumni Locky Gilbert, as well as former footballers Barry Hall and Wayne Carey.
Model and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star Simone Holtznagel, filmmaker Paul Fenech and rugby star Millie Boyle will also appear.
