Actually, as it turns out this editing mishap may not have been “a fail,” as such, but rather an intentional manipulation in the post-production suite.

As reported in episode 186 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a source dished that former Married at First Sight bride Beck Zemek is getting done dirty by the edit – again.
In one of the season’s early promos, contestant Samantha Jade says “she’s really nasty.” The clip then flashes to Beck’s face.
Welp! One contestant has spilled the tea exclusively to So Dramatic! and it turns out that something totally different actually went down.
Apparently, Samantha actually made that comment about Real Housewives of Melbourne star Gamble Breaux.
However, it was made to look as though it was directed towards Beck to fit the storyline.
The soundbite was included in the promo alongside a compilation of Beck during her stint on MAFS, during which she fell victim to the “villain” edit.
Those pesky producers!
