Darren McMullen has set sail on the Regal Princess as host of The Real Love Boat Australia 2022, and we think he’s pretty ship-shape!

Before he became a reality TV staple in 2022, ‘Straya fell for the now 40-year-old after he dressed up like a prawn (PLEASE watch the video below) on The Masked Singer in 2019.

Maybe it was his Scottish accent, or just that he lowkey looks like a lumberjack, but fans couldn’t get enough of him!

Then, after competing in the singing comp, Darren made a yuge comeback on Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2022, coming in second behind Benji Marshall.

So, who is Darren McMullen?!

Darren McMullen’s Career Highlights Vary From TV Host to Actor

The Scotsman began his career as a Foxtel presenter before pivoting to host Minute to Win It in 2011, then The Voice Australia in 2012.

After that, he took his hosting skills to National Geographic, where he starred in a six-part mini-series called Darren McMullen’s Outsiders.

During the show, he travelled Europe, testing out experiences that would often be considered taboo.

While a seasoned host, Darren set his sights on acting, landing himself parts in the TV drama House Husbands, the hotly contested Seachange reboot, and the Stan original film Christmas On The Farm.

Oh, and he also got a gig writing about wine for escape.com.au.

Is there anything he can’t do?
