The stakes are higher than ever as Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2022 finalist Darren McMullen competes to win $100,000 for his chosen charity, Feel the Magic.

Throughout the series, Darren has fought to raise awareness for Feel the Magic, an organisation that provides early intervention grief education programs for kids aged seven to 17, who are experiencing pain and isolation due to the death of a parent, guardian, or sibling.

As a mental health advocate, the former Voice Australia host became an ambassador for the charity in 2022. It came after he recognised the link between mental health issues, suicide, and grief.

“I have lost friends to suicide and supported many more as they struggled with mental health issues,” he recently told Feel the Magic. “And I realised many of these friends had lost their parents when they were young.”

He added that he “loves” that the organisation works to actively support “kids and teens live with their grief in a healthy way”.

“It was a no-brainer [to become an ambassador],” the House Husbands actor confessed. “This is such a special charity where the money raised is used to make a difference at the ground level. It just felt right.”

Darren McMullen’s Goal Has Always Been to “Make a Difference”

Darren admitted that after nearly two decades in the entertainment industry, his goal has always been to “make a difference”.

“The reason why I got into this industry in the first place was to help people or to give a voice to people who didn’t have a voice,” he said. “I am privileged to be able to get to people through the medium of entertainment.

“My goal from a young age was always to make a difference in the world and to help people who are less fortunate than me.”
