Married at First Sight Australia 2022 bride Tamara Djordjevic opened up to fans in an Instagram Q&A on Tuesday night and yup, she FINALLY addressed rumours that she has been shacking up with co-star Mitch Eynaud post-show.
After claiming that she “is actually super chill” and (surprise surprise) her hospo-hating persona was “just bad editing,” Tamara finally answered the question we had all been waiting on the edge of our seats for.
“Most asked question in the question box,” she said in response to a fan who asked if the MAFS co-stars were “together”.
“Mitch and I are really good friends,” she claimed. “We obviously didn’t talk after the Commitment Ceremony… we live intimating that their reunion blow up had left things a little tense.
“One day we were like ‘let’s put our differences aside,’ and got to know each other. We have great banter and got heaps in common.
“He’s been so supportive and unless you’ve been through this MAFS experience you don’t know what it’s like… Mitch and I had similar struggles and just bonded a natural friendship.”
Tamara “setting the record straight” counteracts almost every report, source and sighting to have come out of the Gold Coast in the last three months. Lol.
Tamara Addressed Those Rumours About Brent and Ella
During her Instagram Q&A Tamara not only refuted rumours that she’s dating Mitch but also addressed the gossip that their respective experiment exes have been hooking up!
Rumours have been swirling that Brent Vitiello and Ella Ding are a thing since they were papped getting cozy at Bondi Beach on Valentine’s Day (the same day Tamara and Mitch were snapped on a lunch date, btw).
With the overwhelming public support for the budding relationship, it would make sense that Tamara could feel a tad put out. However, the former operations manager made clear that this is not the case!
“I don’t think Brent and Ella are any of my business, to be honest,” she said.
“If they are together then I’m happy for them, I think everyone deserves happiness. Good luck to them.”
Tamara Talked About “Competing With Ella”
In response to a fan who asked Tamara “how the hell she thinks she could compete with Ella,” the bride gave a more than warranted eye-roll.
“I don’t compete with Ella,” she said. “We are two totally different people. I don’t compete or compare myself to anybody else.”
This comes a little over a week after she and Carolina Santos left a number of their costars — including Ella — a series of abusive voicemails.
According to Tamara, Brent Was “Nasty”
During her Q&A on her Instagram Stories, Tamara took a jab at her MAFS husband.
“I am trying to move past the nastiness,” she began. “At the end of the day, I always had a gut feeling… there was just something not quite right, something not genuine.”
According to the 30-year-old, she mentioned several times that she was feeling unsure, “but really tried,” and it was edited out.
“Once I said ‘leave’ after the couples retreat I really should have left then,” she added. “I was suffering, I was very alone and isolated.”
“I don’t think Brent was in this experiment for legitimate reasons,” she claimed.
“You’ve gotta be smarter guys. Understand, if someone is as perfect as what’s shown as Brent was in his edit… I don’t wanna sit here and rat on him, but there’s a lot you didn’t see. I wouldn’t have been the way that I was for no reason.”
