Big Brother Australia fan favourite Estelle Landy is one of eight iconic housemates returning to Big Brother: Back to the Future 2022.

Appearing in the ninth season of the hit show, Estelle was a hotly contested star all thanks to her polarising nature and misfit behaviour.

However, she is most known for infamously holding the record for receiving the most nominations in a single night (*ahem* 19).

She also copped the most nominations of the series EVER, finishing the season with a big ‘ol 89.

What’s more, is that she faced eight out of 12 evictions — y’know, back when the show was live and we actually got a say in what went down?

Despite all the ruckus and threats of elimination, Estelle still came out on top. Well, sort of.

She finished in third place in 2012, behind runner-up Layla Subritzky and winner Benjamin Norris.

Estelle Is Approaching Big Brother the Same Way, 10 Years On

Since leaving the Big Brother house 10 years ago, Estelle has honed in on her love of horses, now working as a horse riding coach.

As an advocate for animal rights and environmental protection, the 33-year-old has spent plenty of time working on projects that benefit the natural environment.

As she tackles the game once more, Estelle is approaching the competition the same way she did all those years ago.

“Both seasons have something in common; I never went in to win,” she wrote on Instagram. “Never thought about the money. I just knew you couldn’t buy this type of life experience!”

Adding that she is making the 2022 game her “own”, Estelle teases that “it’s going to be wild”.

“I can prove, nice girls don’t finish last.”
