Big Brother Australia 2012 runner up Layla Subritzky rose to early-internet virality after literally, everyone became obsessed with a faux music video that she made with her housemates on the show.
Ten years on and we still can’t help but hum Oats A La Layla every time we make porridge.
The British-born star had only been living Down Under for a couple of weeks before auditioning for the show.
Since walking away from Big Brother season nine a silver medalist and internet sensation (and with a short-lived boyfriend in housemate Sam Wallace), Layla has lived a pretty low-key life.
Aside from appearing on Celebrity Apprentice alongside Roxy Jacenko in 2013, the 34-year-old returned to her job as a beautician, before moving into a career in disability community support in 2019.
Maybe she has been inspired to return to reality TV by her brother David Subritzky‘s stint on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here earlier this year, because Layla is back for a second shot at the Big Brother win.
