Nearly 10 years after they found love in the Big Brother Australia house, Tully Smyth and Anthony Drew are back on their dramatic bullsh*t in Big Brother: Back to the Future.
In 2013, what arguably remains the best season of Big Brother thus far had reality TV fanatics in an absolute chokehold, all thanks to Tully striking up a romance with Anthony (best known as Drew), despite having a long-term girlfriend IRL.
It was messy AF but damn, did we love it!
Trailers for the upcoming season have teased a love triangle between Tully, Drew and his new “girlfriend” — who conveniently happens to be a contestant on the show, too.
Now, one insider has dished to So Dramatic! exactly what went down when the former flames reunited in the house.
Revealing that Drew enters the house before Tully, the source said he “hooks up” with “one of the new random contestants”.
“Then they released Tully into the house a week later as a late edition,” they spilled. “Tully walks in and Drew has already found himself a girlfriend in week one.”
The new contestant is named Sam, and apparently, Tully is “ropeable” at the new pairing.
“She was literally shaking when she found out,” they said.
Tully’s Behaviour On Big Brother: Back to the Future Is “Pathetic”
Recalling Tully and Drew’s reunion, the source described the pair as having a “toxic little thing going on”.
“Drew is never single for long and he’s a true narcissist, so he won’t ever let Tully go,” they said, adding: “[Tully] is undyingly obsessed with him.
“She is so possessive, codependent on him.”
After learning about Drew’s new fling, the influencer reportedly “isolates” Sam.
“It’s pathetic high school bullying at its finest,” the insider spilled.
Hang On, Doesn’t Tully Have a Boyfriend?
Perhaps the most perplexing element of this Big Brother drama is the fact that Tully was already dating her current boyfriend, Daniel Parisi, when filming the new series.
As exclusively revealed by So Dramatic! in October, the pair met on Hinge and began dating during the pandemic.
“They started chatting on there and then went from zero to 100 real quick!” one source revealed.
Some two months later, Tully *officially* debuted her relationship with Daniel on the ‘gram, despite having been together for six months at the time.
“You were worth the wait,” she captioned a photo of the pair sharing a kiss in honour of their six-month anniversary.
The relationship debut was also the first post from Tully in over two months.
She had announced in October that she was “taking a break from social media to be this happy IRL”. And now it looks like she is!
The social media break also coincided with Big Brother: Back to the Future filming.
