Big Brother Australia 2013 winner and resident prankster Tim Dormer is back in the house for a second shot at the crown in 2022.

As one of eight returning BBAU stars, the 37-year-old will compete against all-new contestants in a history-making game that celebrates Big Brother‘s 21st birthday.

Stepping into the competition from his job as a disability support care worker, Tim brings plenty of skill into the Big Brother Australia house — after all, this is his third shot at victory!

His huge personality (and hair), coupled with his mischievous nature quickly made him BB royalty.

Since winning season 10, Tim has been recognised as one of the best players in the game’s history by housemates and viewers alike.

Accordingly, it was no surprise when he found himself in the Big Brother Canada house in 2016 after being chosen by the public to be a “wildcard houseguest”.

Despite ruffling more than a few feathers and earning himself a target on his back, Tim left the competition in third place.

Big Brother Isn’t the Only Reality Series Tim Dormer Has Appeared On

Following a career under the watchful eye of Big Brother himself, the fan favourite also appeared on Celebrity Apprentice Australia.

Tackling the fourth season in 2015, Tim went head to head with Aussie TV royalty Sophie Monk in the finale.

During the last challenge of the season, the final two were tasked with creating a brand campaign for Australia, which included producing a TV commercial and a print ad.

Tim and Sophie were only given two days to create their campaigns, which were then presented for judging at a gala event.

Unfortunately, the passionate reality star finished as Sophie’s runner-up. However, he still raised a sh*t-ton of cashola for his nominated charity, Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors.

What’s Been Happening In Tim’s Personal Life Since Appearing On Reality TV?

Despite exuding confidence and flashing his contagious smile, Tim — like many of us — has also faced some tough times over the past few years.

In November 2020, Tim revealed that he and his fiancé, Ash Toweel, had split after six years together.

Taking to Instagram with the announcement, he said he wanted to “share [his] broken heart” and the “vulnerable change” with his fans.

“This week Ash and I have parted ways,” he wrote in the lengthy post. “My first ever love and long-term relationship, six years now he has been my partner along this journey.”

Adding that not everything you see is to be believed, Tim said they had to make the “harder choice to walk away”.

“Despite how pretty we looked on Instagram, no relationship is perfect and you can only compromise so long in the fight against demons before you have to make an even harder choice to walk away.”

Tim Dormer Is Ready to “Bring It” On Big Brother: Back to the Future

Things are now looking up for the beloved reality star as he has since found love with his current partner, Adam Freeth.

Setting his sights on another Big Brother win, Tim told fans he was going to “bring it” upon announcing his return to the famed house.

Will he be the first person in the history of the game to win Big Brother twice?
