Thank the (reality TV) Lords because Selling Sunset has crash-landed back onto our TV screens and there are already some cringe-worthy editing fails for us to poke fun at!
Despite the Netflix show‘s blowout budget, the Oppenheim Group have still been subject to a number of unfortunate editing suite slip-ups.
Jason’s Very Important “Phone Call”
Jason Oppenheim is a very important man who has to make lots of very important phone calls.
However, fans were left questioning the extent to which Jason’s business deals are dramatised — or even fabricated — for the sake of the show after they caught this embarrassing Selling Sunset editing fail.
In the season’s seventh episode, Jason’s camera is clearly visible while he is “on a phone call”.
While it is possible that he may have accidentally swiped to another app, given that this is reality TV, chances are it was, in fact, a phony phone call!
Chelsea’s Dress Blunder
Season five newcomer Chelsea Lazkani has only just debuted on Selling Sunset but she’s already been subjected to an awkward AF faux pas.
In a clip that was surely meant to be left on the cutting room floor, eagle-eyed fans spotted something odd going on with Chelsea’s dress.
The gown was tied up in bunches at the back with elastic bands. This is a typical tactic employed by stylists, but not usually something people walk around sporting in their day-to-day activities.
