Married at First Sight Australia 2022 groom Daniel Holmes has called out 2019 star Michael Brunelli for making fun of him and his bae Carolina Santos on TikTok.
Since rising to fame in the experiment three years ago, Michael has offered commentary and comedic relief on social media during the trainwreck seasons that have followed his own.
Now, it appears his content has found him in some trouble with 2022 intruder Daniel, who took to his Fitstagram (that’s fitness Instagram, for those playing at home) to call the reality star out.
“Only makes content clinging onto this season’s cast of MAFS,” the 30-year-old penned over a screenshot of Michael’s TikTok account.
Adding that the veteran TV groom is “constantly having stabs” at the controversial pairing, Daniel declared Michael should “know better”.
“You would think someone who’s been through this circus would know better than to spread more delusional bs. Your embarrassing mate no wonder Martha [Kalifatidis] wanted an open relationship [sic].”
Ah, there’s nothing like calling someone out for mocking your relationship by mocking them for the exact. Same. Thing.
The last time we checked, Daniel’s fitness page was private as the experiment unfolded on TV. Now, it appears the personal trainer has made the account public to call out his fellow MAFS alum without having to answer to the producers who are holding his personal account hostage.
What Has Michael Brunelli Said About Daniel and Carolina?
The callout came on Tuesday just moments after Michael posted a clip poking fun at Carolina and Daniel.
The video showed a snippet of the couple being interviewed on the street, with Carolina confessing: “I don’t know why we weren’t worthy of a chance”.

ICYMI: Carolina and Daniel were at the centre of Married at First Sight 2022‘s cheating scandal, and were not permitted by the experts to stay in the experiment as a new couple.
The clip then cut to Michael, clearly frustrated, smacking his head against his phone. LOL.
Wait, What’s This About Michael, Martha and an Open Relationship?
In March, Michael’s MAFS bae and IRL fiancée Martha confessed that the pair had discussed the idea of having an open relationship.
Speaking on KIIS FM drive show Will & Woody, Martha, 33, explained they spoke about it after The Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield announced she was in an open relationship with her boyfriend Konrad Bień-Stephen.
Martha said Michael had asked for her thoughts on open relationships, but eventually, they both decided the polyamorous lifestyle wasn’t for them.
“Michael and I spoke about this, not because we were wanting to explore it, but you know Abbie is in an open relationship. We follow Abbie and love Abbie. She announced it,” Martha recalled.
“Michael was like, ‘Good for her. I don’t know if I could do it, but what do you think?’ This was his way of tip-toeing around asking me. I was like, ‘I don’t know if it’s for me. I don’t know.'”
Martha then went on to explain how they had discussed how open relationships work and whether they would be okay with each other sleeping around.
“He was like, ‘I don’t get it. What happens? I go out one night, I hook up with some bird, I come home and have a shower and then jump into bed with you and I’m like, “Babe, love ya, kisses.’ Would you be okay with that?’ And I was like, “Not when you put it like that.’
“It’s not for us obviously… But with relationships, you can just never judge. Everyone’s relationship is unique,” she added.
