After Tuesday’s Married at First Sight Australia 2022 Final Vows ceremony, fans were shaken to their core after Mitch Eynaud revealed he wasn’t ready to make a decision on whether or not he wanted to stay with Ella Ding post-show.
After saying that he “will not be forced to make a decision I am not yet ready to make,” Ella and the people of Australia were left scratching their heads in a truly WTAF moment.
Now, it seems that Mitch did a complete 180, with the pair even turning up to the reunion episode TOGETHER and stronger than ever! Wut?!
When Did Ella and Mitch Get Back Together?
As reported in episode 168 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Mitch — AKA the ultimate f*ckboi — and Ella ended up reuniting after the final vows.
“Ella and Mitch return to the experiment together,” a spicy on-set source revealed. “It’s a huge shock to everyone considering what happened with them at the final vows.”
According to our So Dramatic! spy, the couple somehow managed to patch things up and had been speaking every day since the experiment.
“Ella went to Queensland to spend time with him on the Gold Coast,” they said.
Picture Proof that Ella Was In the Gold Coast with Mitch
Back in January, Ella posted a picture to her Instagram account looking stunning, as always.
Whilst the picture was seemingly inconspicuous, one eagle-eyed So Dramatic! spy noticed that the post’s comment section revealed some telling information regarding Mitch and Ella’s post-MAFS relationship status.
Replying to a friend who commented that the Melburnian looked “gorg’,” Ella wrote that it was just “the [Gold Coast] glow”, followed by a winky face emoji.
Then, on September 26 last year, Mitch uploaded a photo of himself at Lip Falls in Beechmont.
On January 6, 2022, Ella also posted a stunning photo of herself at the falls. Now we know it wasn’t just a coincidence!!

What Happened at the Married at First Sight Australia Reunion?
According to the So Dramatic! source, the pair then met up again in Sydney for the reunion “and had a great time together.”
“They even told the group that they had made plans for the future and Ella was thinking of moving to the Gold Coast for Mitch.” Seriously?!
“They seemed really solid. Mitch tells everyone that he’s committed to Ella at the reunion,” they added. “It was nice to see them finish the season strong. They seemed to be in a good place.”
WOWEEEEE… that’s huge for our King F*ckboi — but considering we heard that he and Tamara Djordjevic hooked up after the reunion, we don’t think their patched-up relo was long-lasting.
