Rumours have been swirling that Married at First Sight Australia 2022 groom Brent Vitiello has been hooking up with his fellow contestant Ella Ding since the show wrapped.
Now, everyone’s MAFS man-crush has spoken out about the gossip.
Speaking to host Megan Pustetto in episode 159 of the So Dramatic! podcast‘s AFTERMAFS series, the Sydneysider reiterated that he and Ella are NOT dating IRL. Well, it’s fair game then, ladies!
The gorgeous groom spilled: “Me and Ella are really close now – but no, not like that. We have not done anything like that.”
“We just we just met on common ground and we just became really close,” he continued.
Brent added that he and Ella “confided in each other, spoke a lot and got along really well outside of [the experiment],” and that the pair “always give each other great advice”.
“We’re very similar,” he laughed.
The 33-year-old noted that Ella is also close with their former MAFS castmates Domenica Calarco, Jack Millar and Al Perkins, saying that the fantastic fivesome “hang out quite a bit.”
We are disappointed that Ella and Brent are a thing IRL – they would have made for one hot AF couple!
What Sparked Rumours That MAFS‘ Brent and Ella Were Dating?
On Valentine’s Day, Ella and Brent made waves amongst MAFS fans after they were papped together at the beach looking very friendly ( and slathering SPF on each other).
Speaking on AFTERMAFS, Brent admitted: “It did look like that [a date], to be honest.”
“But look, we were just having a good time,” he continued. “We were just chillin’, like honestly, relaxing and just enjoying some time away from, you know, everything.” Like their respective MAFS partners, perhaps?
He added that he “just wanted to make sure Ella was protected from the sun”. Bless.
Additionally, as reported in episode 151 of the So Dramatic! podcast, another Married at First Sight star was also at the beach with Ella and Brent that fateful rumour-sparking day!
Yup. A source dished that Domenica was catching some rays with her co-stars but was omitted from the pics “for obvious reasons”.
“Domenica was at the beach… as well, but she was cropped out of the photos… make it look like it was Ella and Brent on a date,” they explained. “If you look closely, you can see her in the corner of one of the snaps.”
Mitch and Ella’s MAFS Exes are Hooking Up IRL
As revealed in episode 155 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a source confirmed that Brent and Ella’s Married at First Sight matches are a thing IRL! Love square, anyone?
“Tamara and Mitch are now dating/seeing each other,” the source revealed. Wild!
Allegedly, Mitch and Tamara have been staying together on the Gold Coast and have been together for “maybe a couple of months, since the show was airing”.
Of the random AF recoupling, Brent said: “All props to them. You know – why not? Whatever. I have no other comment on that, to be honest.”
