Married at First Sight Australia 2022 fan-favourite Al Perkins may have “consumicated” his marriage with Samantha Moitzi during the experiment last week, however, the young groom has also been spotted on a dating app IRL.
Last week, bébé Al finally made it to fourth base with Samantha (and did a shoey to celebrate, of course) but it appears the pair may not be going so strong in the post-MAFS world.
As revealed in episode 155 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a source told host Megan Pustetto that they recently saw the beloved Al on the dating app Hinge.
Hmmm, suspicious. This means Al has either forgotten to deactivate his pre-experiment profile or he is back on the market!
Get in line, ladies!
That being said, Al was also recently spotted showing off his wedding ring still on his finger during a night out with the 2022 Married at First Sight crew.
So, in some wishful thinking, perhaps Al and Samantha have defied all odds, and that pesky Hinge profile is a thing of the past!
Is MAFS’ Al Perkins Really As Sweet As He Seems?
Al has emerged as the penultimate fan favourite of the 2022 MAFS season. He is adorable, ripped AF and partial to a shoey – what’s not to love?
However, MAFS fans have been scorned before (ahem, Olivia Frazer) and some have been questioning if Al is really as sweet as he seems.
The answer? Yes, he is! Phew!
According to another contestant, Al was “trying really hard” throughout the experiment.
“Al is probably going to come across really bad,” they said. “But he is really a sweet, caring and sensitive guy. He means well and has a heart of gold.” We love to hear this!
While his match with Samantha has been a tad bumpy, Al does “try really hard to make things work” with her.
“He puts a lot of effort in,” the source said. “He comes to the boys for advice all the time — especially Brent [Vitiello]. He’s always wanting to learn. He really does try.”
Fabulous, we can go on loving Al in peace!
