Married at First Sight Australia 2022 contestant Selin Mengu has made wild claims about her wedding night during a rogue interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

The 32-year-old called into the staple KIIS FM program on Monday morning after hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson earlier interviewed her TV husband Anthony Cincotta.

Revealing that she was going to “lose it” if she didn’t defend herself, the mother-of-one claimed that she was pressured by Anthony and MAFS producers to sleep in the same bed after she declined to do so.

“It’s just not fair that I’m dealing with this backlash when I’ve said no to a few things and he persisted,” Selin said. “I didn’t want to [share a bed]… I didn’t feel comfortable and he persisted, [producers] insisted.”

According to Selin, Anthony said sharing a bed “wasn’t a big deal”. Eventually, she reluctantly agreed to sleep next to the 38-year-old semi-pro wrestler, despite insisting she preferred to sleep on the couch.

Selin also alleged that Anthony “dunked [her] head underwater” while filming a kayaking date after she disclosed she was suffering from an ear infection.

MAFS Sources Disclose Reason For Selin’s “Negative” Behaviour

Since the series began airing, fans have dubbed Selin as a villain due to her animosity towards her TV hubby.

However, a MAFS insider disclosed to So Dramatic! that Anthony displayed questionable behaviour towards his bride that wasn’t shown on-screen.

“Something went down on the wedding night and he crossed a lot of her boundaries,” the source dished. “That’s why she felt uncomfortable to be around him after that.”

They also added that Anthony “has a bad temper” and soon turned “manipulative and controlling” after “love bombing” his bride.

Anthony has since denied Selin’s on-radio claims, with the groom reportedly unaware that his wife was uncomfortable.
