Married at First Sight 2022 bride Domenica Calarco struggled to open up to her new groom Jack Miller about the fact that she is a divorcee. But who is this mystery ex-husband?
Dom’s ex-husband is Luke Rodley, a producer of Channel 10’s Studio 10, whom she likely would have worked with when she appeared on the show as a beauty contributor.
A friend of the bride’s former husband revealed to a media publication that Luke “couldn’t believe it when Domenica ended things after two months.”
But why did Dom and Luke’s marriage end so quickly when they had been together for four years?

On MAFS, the beauty guru revealed that the marriage was short-lived because she simply just wasn’t happy.
However, the split was reportedly a shock to the TV producer as he “thought they’d be together forever and had no idea she wasn’t happy.”
Confessing to her new groom Jack in a recent episode: “I wasn’t happy, and I wasn’t happy six months before we got married and I shouldn’t have gone through with it – but I did.”
This storyline was featured heavily in the MAFS episode where the two strangers first meet, with Dom admitting to feeling anxious about revealing this revelation to Jack.
Thankfully her new groom was totally understanding and had no qualms about her past relationship.
What does Domenica’s ex-husband think about her going on to marry a stranger?
Domenica candidly admitted in an interview with Yahoo!News that she “did afford [Luke] the respect of telling him that I was going into the experiment, but I wouldn’t say he took it well.”
She added: “He’s way more of a private person, in a sense that he’s probably worried about the judgement a little bit more.”
“That was something that took over a lot in our relationship and caused the breakdown of our relationship if I’m being honest,” the divorcee also confessed.
“It’s my journey now, it’s about me. It was upsetting to hear that he was really upset and angry that I was going on Married At First Sight, but this is about me, it’s not about him. And I’m doing this for me and it’s my life and that’s all that matters.”
