Married at First Sight is back, baby, and the first full-length trailer has already confirmed the 2022 season is going to be hectic AF.

The sneak peek dropped on Monday night and when we say there’s a lot going on, we mean A LOT.

It kicks off by doubling down on the whole ‘I want to find my Prince Charming’ schtick, with an emotional bride airing her hopes of finding a man to fall in love with her.

A groom also confesses: “I’m looking for that person who sets my soul on fire.”

However, just when we were beginning to think this season might genuinely be wholesome, we’re met with a bunch of clips that show one particular groom having feet thrust in his face.

WTAF?

“I’m actually really uncomfortable around feet,” he explains to the camera. “It freaks me out.”

The same bloke later tells the camera that yep, his wife is a “psychopath”!

In true MAFS fashion, the trailer then spirals into a series of chaotic scenes and hoooboy, this is going to be fun!

“I told you to get… stop it, STOP IT!” a fiery bride screams at her “husband” over what appears to be the infamous groom ranking challenge.

Cut to a dinner party, and another woman sternly tells her castmates: “I’ll say it to your face: I don’t like you, and I don’t like you.”

The brutal honesty doesn’t stop there, though. “Get a personality,” one groom begs, while another urges his bride to “get over [her]self”.

Could This Be The Steamiest Season Of Married At First Sight Yet?

Alongside the #Drama, it appears that the ninth season of MAFS is going to be the steamiest yet!

“Hormones are through the roof,” one of the gals tells the camera. “I’m probably a bit toey!”

And in case that wasn’t enough to prove that this year’s contestants are horny AF, we’re treated to a compilation of cheeky clips, including a couple making out on the bed, one bride getting a butt massage and numerous shirtless grooms.

January 31 can’t come soon enough!

What Do We Know About The Married At First Sight 2022 Contestants?

Last year’s initial teaser promised “the most handsome new grooms and breathtaking new brides the series has ever hitched”.

While this will be a feast for the eyes, let’s hope their personalities are something to write home about.

The cast includes influencer Brent Vitiello, driving instructor and all-round bombshell Olivia Frazer, Melbourne florist Jess Seracino and Texan personal trainer Andrew Davis — just to name a few.

One Groom Was Booted From Married At First Sight 2022 After Just Two Weeks

One groom from the upcoming season was axed from the series just two weeks into filming after he was found to have made a number of degrading videos online.

**Trigger warning: The following content discusses homophobia, racism and sexism and might be distressing to some readers.

Simon Blackburn was identified as one of the new MAFS grooms after he was spotted in an inital promo clip for the upcoming series. However, it wasn’t long before he was outed as a controversial TikTok star.

In a series of videos that were obtained by So Dramatic!, Simon could be seen making a number of degrading comments towards women and the LGBTIQA+ community.
