Melbourne florist Jessica Seracino is on the hunt for lifelong love on Married at First Sight 2022.

The 27-year-old is said to be a social butterfly, which will certainly work to her advantage when she makes an entrance at the dinner parties!

This year, Jessica’s traditional Maltese parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, a true feat that their daughter aspires to.

According to the blushing bride, they are the epitome of what a perfect marriage should look like.

However, despite hoping to find a sincere relationship on Married at First Sight, Jessica was faced with a sh*tload of drama before the series even went to air!

In November, So Dramatic! exclusively revealed that the bombshell was matched with axed groom Simon Blackburn during his short-lived time on the show.

Simon was booted from the series just two weeks into filming after a series of vile videos he made resurfaced online.

A source close to Jessica revealed that she felt “uncomfortable” around Simon “from the get-go” and immediately saw a lot of “red flags.”

“He was extremely obnoxious, rude and aggressive and said a number of things that immediately set off alarm bells,” the source explained. “Everyone at the wedding was on edge and noticed something was off about him.

“The wedding was extremely awkward and the energy was off all around.”

Jessica Seracino Alerted Married at First Sight Producers To Simon Blackburn’s Behaviour

Jessica reportedly got in touch with friends while on her honeymoon, revealing that she didn’t feel comfortable about sharing a room with Simon.

“They googled his name and found all of the disturbing tweets, TikTok and YouTube videos he’d made and sent it all straight to Jess,” the insider reveals. “They couldn’t believe what they were seeing.”

Jessica immediately showed producers what she had discovered online.

“She was in total shock,” the friend explained.

When the TV bride approached producers with the information, they vehemently denied knowing anything about Simon’s disturbing past.

Jess was later rematched with a new groom, however, was told not to speak about her first marriage.

“They rematched her with a new guy and about two weeks later she remarried someone else as if nothing ever happened,” the source said. “Jessica returns as an intruder and is made to pretend that the first marriage never happened. She was told never to speak of it.”

What Did Simon Blackburn Say In His Online Videos?

**Trigger warning: This article discusses homophobia, racism and sexism and might be distressing to some readers.

In a series of videos that were obtained by So Dramatic!, Simon can be seen making a number of degrading comments towards women and the LGBTIQA+ community.

During one video, the Melbourne-based FIFO worker described homosexuality as “filth”.

“You might as well jump in a box, you’re gonna get AIDS,” he said. “If you are gay, you are gonna get AIDS.

“It’s just disgusting. It’s like filth, it’s actually filth. That sexual orientation is f*cking filth.”

Channel Nine confirmed to So Dramatic! that they had decided to remove Simon from the series after being made aware of the disturbing videos.

“When unacceptable social media content was discovered in relation to Simon Blackburn we immediately took steps to remove him from the program. We won’t be making further comment,” a spokesperson said.
