Simon was identified as one of the new MAFS grooms after he was spotted in a new promo clip for the upcoming series. However, it wasn’t long before he was outed as a controversial TikTok star.

In a series of videos that were obtained by So Dramatic! on Tuesday, Simon can be seen making a number of degrading comments towards women and the LGBTIQA+ community.

On Wednesday, Channel Nine confirmed to So Dramatic! that they had decided to remove him from the show after being made aware of the disturbing videos.

“When unacceptable social media content was discovered in relation to Simon Blackburn we immediately took steps to remove him from the program. We won’t be making further comment,” a Channel Nine spokesperson told So Dramatic!.

What Did Married at First Sight Groom Simon Blackburn Say In The Tik Tok Videos?

During one video, the Melbourne-based FIFO worker described homosexuality as “filth”.

“You might as well jump in a box, you’re gonna get AIDS,” he said. “If you are gay, you are gonna get AIDS.

“It’s just disgusting. It’s like filth, it’s actually filth. That sexual orientation is f*cking filth.”

In another clip, the father-of-two calls on other men to join him at the annual Schoolies festival on the Gold Coast. The event is traditionally held for graduating Year 12 students.

“We’re gonna be there, we’ll go to the second or third week,” Simon explains.

“Get a bit more botox, try to make myself look 25-ish… We’re gonna have birds just f*cking everywhere, man.”

Another shameful video revealed that the axed groom would never date women “over 60 kilos”.

“I just matched with this b*tch on Hinge,” he claims. “I’ve known this f*cking c*nt for probably ten years… All these f*cking cunts think because they seen a video of me on Tik Tok saying I don’t like women over 60 f*cking kilos that they’re not my type. What the f*ck does that got to do with me matching with this dumb c*nt on f*cking Hinge?

“Do I need to go back on a platform and let the females of Australia know? Yeah, my personal preference is not dating f*cking heavy women.”

In another video, he slams his ex after she asked him to look after their two little boys.

“You’re f*cking dreaming mate,” he said. “I don’t give a f*ck what you’re doing with your new boyfriend… The only thing I am going to be doing on Friday night lads is focusing on Kama Sutra and meditation so that when my c*ck enters this bird’s mouth Saturday morning, I don’t last 30 f*cking seconds. I’m shooting Saturday.”

“The last thing I’m f*cking doing is changing f*cking nappies and worrying about where this f*cking ret*rd is because she’s probably gone down a f*cking God knows f*cking cockatoo or some sh*t to go to some f*cking BnB to f*cking get the back taken out of her [sic].”

In another video he goes on a disgusting misogynistic rant against women.

“Back in the day I used to be like ‘keep a b*tch at home,’ mate, I had that,” he exclaims. “The c*nts do f*cking nothing but sit on f*cking YouTube all day.

“So if the 2021 world means that we’ve got to f*cking chip in, help out with the kitchen and stuff like that, the b*tch may as well make some f*cking money.

“No point having that c*nt sittin’ at home all f*cking day, you come home after busting your ass all day, then you’ve got to chip in and do everything as well?

“The only time we’re gonna f*cking chip in is if that c*nt makes f*cking money,” he said.

Simon Blackburn’s Response To Being Outed

After reports emerged about Simon’s damning clips, the infamous TikTok star appeared to address his exit from Married at First Sight 2022 on his private Instagram account.

“Just to clarify, I haven’t posted on TikTok in six months and all videos of me are reposts or screenshots of lvies from last year!” the image reads.

He then said the topics addressed in the videos are “not his current thoughts or mindset”.

Adding that he’ll make no further comments on the matter, he implored people to “let [him] rest” because he is suffering from COVID-19.

The image’s caption reads: “Leave the past in the past!” alongside a beer emoji.

It is currently unclear whether Simon’s appearance in the series will air once the series is broadcast in the New Year, or if Nine will cut his scenes completely.

So Dramatic! has contacted Nine for further comment on the matter.
