Poh Ling Yeow was revealed as a contestant on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! last night. However it wasn’t her entry into the jungle that surprised viewers – it was finding out her real age.

Despite making her debut on MasterChef over a decade ago in 2009, the celebrity chef still managed to shock the Australian public on Monday when they discovered her real age is actually 49.
Viewers couldn’t get over Poh’s age-defying visage, with many saying she could easily pass for a woman half her age.
“How the hell is Poh 49? Good grief,” one shocked viewer tweeted after Poh was introduced as a cast member.
“Poh is nearly 50. Still a babe,” another viewer agreed.

Who Is I’m a Celebrity’s Poh Ling Yeow?
The popular foodie rose to fame on the first season of MasterChef Australia, placing runner-up behind winner Julie Goodwin.
She went on to launch a successful career in the food industry and has since hosted several cooking shows on ABC and SBS.
Poh was the first star to step into the jungle during Monday’s premiere of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
During the episode, Poh was tasked with throwing herself out of a plane in a hair-raising skydiving challenge.
In the difficult task, Poh, AFL legend Nathan Buckley, TV personality Dylan Lewis, Miss Universe Australia 2020 Maria Thattil and actor-turned-fake influencer David Subritzky had to skydive and pose for a selfie in mid-air to win meals for the camp.
Poh was one of nine celebrities to debut on Monday, alongside retired NRL player Beau Ryan, comedian Cal Wilson and Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm.
