I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Australia 2022 is fast approaching and while we’ve only had clues so far, we are starting to get an idea of which celebs are going into the jungle.

According to some of the hints, there’s a country singer an Australian chef, a beauty queen, an AFL star, a hunky International reality star and a comedian all headed into the wild.

So, who do we think they are? Scroll down for all the celebs we think are going into the jungle for I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Australia 2022.

Melissa Leong, MasterChef Australia Judge

It’s always a good idea to cast a chef on I’m A Celebrity. Because, after all, they’re one of the few people who can make a decent feed out of the rations the contestants are given.

Luckily, 2022’s season will be graced with one celebrity chef that’s sure to get the drama simmering.

And we’re verrrryyyy keen on the idea that MasterChef Australia judge Melissa Leong could be heading into the jungle, based on a few key points.

“Chris and Julia will have this Celebrity Chef screaming shiitake mushrooms before they know it!” Network Ten teased the chef on Instagram. “Just wait until she sees our mystery box.”

Given the mystery boxes are a common item on MasterChef Australia, we’re confident that the contestant has been featured on the hit cooking show.

It’s not just the MasterChef connection that has our chef hats itching. The 39-year-old has previously mentioned that shiitake mushrooms were a staple in her childhood lunchbox, which links back to one of the original clues.

Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle, Geordie Shore Star

Apparently, we’re going to be blessed with an international reality star who is a bit of a “wild boy”.

Who could it be? Well, we’re sure there’s no one wilder than Geordie Shore‘s Gaz Beadle, who starred on the hit UK series from 2011 to 2017.

It isn’t too far of a stretch to suggest that the renowned naughty boy could make an appearance on I’m A Celebrity AU. After all, his ex and co-star Charlotte Crosby previously took to the jungle in 2020!

Others are suggesting that Bachelor in Paradise‘s resident British bad boy Ciarran Stott could be the mystery contestant, but we just aren’t buying.

Maria Thattil, Former Miss Universe Australia

Co-host Dr Chris Brown teased that there would be a “different type” of celebrity participating in the 2022 season, and we’re convinced said celebrity is Miss Universe Australia 2020 winner Maria Thattil.

The show previously revealed that a beauty queen will take to the jungle in the New Year. Now, a social media absence from the 28-year-old seems to indicate that she was off the grid filming for the highly anticipated new season.

On September 6, the influencer revealed she would be taking a break from Instagram. The real clanger? The post came one day before I’m A Celeb began filming.

“Social media and the digital space is a beautiful amalgamation of work, life, connections and heart for me,” she penned to her followers. “But when you work in this space, it can be hard to take time off from what you call work, when sometimes, the blurred lines call for a break.”

She added that she would be MIA for a week as she “switch[ed] off to enjoy coffee, solo time doing things [she likes] and rest”.

Nine days later the former Miss Universe reappeared online on September 15.

Could Maria Thattil be the beauty queen we’ve been waiting for?

“I’m back,” she said. “Who knew a social detox would help me find connection in disconnection?”

Melinda Schneider, Country Music Star

As reported in episode 130 of the So Dramatic! podcast, host Megan Pustetto revealed a juicy piece of information we received in our inbox.

Our information does come from a source and is not confirmed so don’t go blowing your life savings on Sportsbet…

According to a recent clue, “a country singer is headed into the jungle” and “no amount of Golden Guitars can save them now”.

The CMAA Golden Guitar Awards celebrate Australian Country Music and there’s a long list of celebs who have multiple awards to their names including… wait for it… Melinda!

I guess we will have to watch to see if this anonymous jungle insider is on the money!

Davina Rankin, Former Married At First Sight Star

Three years since reaching infamy on Married at First Sight, Davina Rankin is taking another stab at reality TV glory.

The 29-year-old was spotted taking some happy snaps for the show, alongside two other cast members.

News of Davina’s foray into the jungle comes after I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia teased that a “controversial reality star” would make an appearance.

And yep, controversial is definitely the right word!

During her time on MAFS in 2018, the TV bride became the first contestant to strike up an extramarital affair with another groom.

Her short-lived fling with Dean Wells dominated headlines as it played out on-screen, leaving her own groom Ryan Gallagher devastated.

Since exiting the show, she’s managed to lead a relatively quiet life out of the public eye and has since welcomed a daughter Mila-Mae with her fiancé Jaxon Manuel.

Nathan Buckley, AFL Legend

After a series of clues in the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia trailer revealed that an AFL star will join the cast, we’ve been wracking our brains trying to figure out who it could be.

Luckily, some pretty solid evidence has emerged that suggests former Collingwood legend and coach Nathan Buckley has traded in his footy boots for hiking boots!

Alongside Davina, the 49-year-old was reportedly seen striking a pose for the series’ promotion decked out in khakis and an Akubra hat.

As a former king of the footy field, does Nathan have what it takes to be the king of the jungle?

Beau Ryan, Former NRL Player And TV Personality

Former NRL star turned TV personality Beau Ryan will take on the jungle as part of his next reality stint.

Just like his co-stars Davina and Nathan, a fan of the show reportedly eye-balled the ex-Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks player taking promotional photos.

TBH, it’s no surprise the father-of-two is appearing on the hit Channel Ten’s series. In 2019, the hunky sportsman signed with the network to host The Amazing Race and has since regularly filled in as a presenter on Studio 10.

Further adding to the evidence that Beau will take on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia, he has coincidentally been missing from Ten’s morning show as of late.
