According to a recent clue, “a country singer is headed into the jungle” and “no amount of Golden Guitars can save them now”.

The CMAA Golden Guitar Awards celebrate Australian Country Music and there’s a long list of celebs who have multiple awards to their names including, wait for it, Melinda!

I guess we will have to watch to see if this anonymous jungle insider is on the money!

Who Is Country Singer Melinda Schneider?

Melinda Schneider is an Aussie music icon, a multi-award winning singer-songwriter, live performer, storyteller, the CEO and founder of Mpower Records and a female empowerment activist.

She’s been around the Australian entertainment scene for 40 years and has released an incredible 14 albums.

The 50-year-old has been on stage since the age of three and has one son, Sullivan, who is eight years old and a partner named Mark Gable.

She has also been open in the past about her battle with depression which began in 2018.

“During that six weeks, all of those feelings most people experience with depression – sadness, defectiveness, shame, hopelessness, helplessness, self-hatred – all sorts of feelings came up,” she told the Daily Telegraph.

“I didn’t really understand that it was depression at the time. I just thought I was exhausted,” she said.
