Last year, SAS Australia took Australia by storm, opening the nation’s eyes to the gruelling physical and mental exercises Special Forces soldiers are put through regularly after a number of household names took on the challenge.

In 2020, former Bachelor and rugby player Nick the ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins, comedian Merrick Watts and AFLW player Sabrina Frederick were the only three contenders to pass the selection course after weeks of mental and physical strain.

This year, 18 familiar celebrity faces have signed on for the 2021 selection course run by an elite team of ex-Special Forces soldiers but not all, if any, will make it out the other side. Some will leave of their own volition AKA a voluntary withdrawal (VW), where they will hand the Directing Staff (DS) their numbered armband, while others will be booted by the DS if the soldiers don’t think they can hack it anymore.

Keep scrolling to see who doesn’t have what it takes to make it past the SAS selection course!
