Step aside, Boomer Ken — there’s another keyboard warrior on the scene in the form of SAS Australia 2021 villain Koby Abberton!

The former big wave surfer and Bra Boy has become the hot topic of many conversations after finding himself at the centre of quite a few controversies since the Special Forces selection course began airing in mid-September.

Now, the 42-year-old has taken it upon himself to set the story (not so) straight by replying to every single person on the SAS Australia Instagram page.

One follower commented under a video that featured Koby in Tuesday night’s episode and asked, “When will it stop being the Koby show?”

In true Koby form, he came back guns blazing, penning a cryptic personal note to the user.

“I don’t make the show, I just be me. Have a good time and talk shit. I don’t know why such critics [sic],” he wrote. “He loves himself is your answer! Yeah I do cause if I don’t no one will. You get it?”

Hmmm, we’re not sure we do!

Koby is known for being a founding member of the notorious Maroubra surf gang the “Bra Boys.”

He found local prominence after his older brother Jai Abberton killed standover man Tony Hines in 2003.

He also shot to notoriety on SAS after appearing to cheat in a fitness challenge during week one of the Special Forces course, with fans of the show calling out his poor handling of the situation after he continued to lie to his fellow recruits.

Under another official SAS Australia post that teased the brutal combat challenge on Monday night, the former Sydney-sider also commented: “Job done back to life. I’m on a boat check the stories suckers. Just live. 🙌 😁 Everyone. I mean it”

Make it make sense!!

But wait — there’s more! In response to a post that read “When you cut corners in training, then you’re going to cut corners on the battlefield”, Koby had a simple response:

…so there’s that.

While the cryptic comments just keep on coming, Koby has also been sounding off on his Instagram stories, discrediting anyone and everyone who comments on the notorious SAS recruit’s actions.

For someone who has a lot to say about the show, father-of-one has certainly embodied the persona of someone who gives zero sh*ts about his TV appearance. In his most recent Instagram post, Koby asked HIS followers what went down on the show on Tuesday!

According to the surfer, he is “supposed to post” while the show is airing, telling his fans that he was “drinking beers” and watching the sunset instead of tuning in!

Ah, well — we guess we can’t argue with that, hey!

We can’t wait to hear what Koby has to say for himself as the season progresses, airing on Channel 7, Monday through Wednesday nights at 7:30pm.
